When setting up your Trezor hardware wallet, the official starting point is trezor.com/start. This page provides a step-by-step onboarding experience, guiding you through firmware installation, wallet setup, and essential security configurations.

Initial Setup Process

Visit the URL with your Trezor device connected via USB. The site will detect your device and prompt you to install Trezor Suite, the companion app used to manage your crypto assets. If it’s your first time, you'll also be guided to generate a recovery seed — a critical step to back up your wallet securely.

Logging In with Your Trezor

After installing Trezor Suite, launch the app and reconnect your device. To log in, you’ll enter your PIN directly on the Trezor device. If you’ve enabled a passphrase, you’ll be asked to type that in as well. The combination ensures only you can access your funds.

How to Log Out

To log out safely, click on your profile in Trezor Suite and choose “Forget Device.” This clears the session. Always unplug your device after use and store it securely to maintain full control over your assets
